Alright. I run Min scout. It's the second worst scout as far as everyone is concerned. I do run it well IMO but I'm starting to hit walls that are frustrating me such as Gal Scouts that can outrun me even when I have a complex Kinkat AND they have nearly the same or even more HP than me. It sucks. I'll get more Guuder. That being said:
So I wanted to hear peoples current builds and strategies OR even some theory if you WERE a min scout.
Here is a little summary of my fits at proto level. I'm rich so I can afford this until the game is done for. Note that I name them this even though they may not fit the bill:
Fit 1: Speed, AV-ish (Primarily used in Dom to get to the objective and be ready for tanks and LAV's right away) Enhanced Light Damage Mod 2x Complex Shields Complex Dampener 2x Complex KinKat Adv Combat Rifle Flaylock Proto AV Nades RS-9 Uplinks RE's
Fit 2: Brick, Speed (I camp nulls with this and get to the outside of the null to take out uplinks. Semi Stealth, Assault type) 2x Complex Shields Enhanced Light Damage Mod Complex Dampener Complex KinKat Enhanced Armor Plate Boundless CR ADV Flaylock Core Locus (proto nades) ADV Cloak Compact Nanohives
Fit 3: Double Dampened Shotty Enhanced Light Damage Mod Complex Precision Enhancer Complex Shields 2x Complex Dampener 1x Enhanced Armor plate Proto Shotty Adv Flaylock Core Locus ADV Cloak Compact Nanohives
Fit 4: Assualt, Logi Escort (Escort Logis and heavies while watching the six. Takes out equipment within 10m of the logi and heavy group. Just provides protection from other scouts really) 2x Complex Precision enhancers 1x Enhanced Damage mod 3x Enhanced armor plates Boundless CR Adv Flaylock Core Locus 2x Compact Nanohives
Fit 5: Assault Brick (I rarely use this) 3x Complex Shields 3x Enhanced Armor Plates Boundless CR ADV Flaylock Core Locus 2x Compact Nanohives
Fit 6: AV (Get by passive scans and proto scans while getting at least one RE on the tank.) 3x Complex Shields Complex KinKat 2x Complex Damp (sometimes tank is escorted by Cal Scout) Adv CR ADV Flaylock Proto AV Nades ADV Cloak Boundless RE's
I'm losing the cloak dampening bonus so I have to find a new strategy for dealing with Cal scouts. I am theorizing, in a 1v 1 situation that I don't use any damp. Maybe 2x Damage mods, Complex shields, 2x kinkats, Enhanced Armor and go back to using the RR. I have 3 prof in that. I'm thinking, if I keep my distance I can scare them from an objective from a reasonable distance such as 50 meters BUT I can move in close quickly if I have to or sprint away if they are running RR themselves. Maybe change my side arm to a ION pistol so if I do have to sprint in close I can one shot. Maybe 1x light damage mod and 1x side arm damage mod instead of 2x light damage mod. Hmmm, Thoughts?
